Tocreateour newSwim Sungaswe went back to the roots and then applied some of our signature tweaks to it. The starting point was the pattern of an originalBrazilian sungafrom the 90s, as based on the MMA shorts of jiu-jitsu fighters thatback in the day were adapted to use in the water for the beaches of Rio de Janeiro.
Then we started cutting and accentuating some of the curved lines to spice up itssexiness factor,and to bring it to some middle ground between the shape of our acclaimedand the form of our new square-cut Swim Trunks. Still, we kept the construction tight around the legs while easy around the waist, to maintain the essence of the Brazilian Mens Sunga. And true to the original, we kept the silhouette plain and free of any accents, pockets, or accessories.
The result is the Swim Sunga now ready to be rocked from sand to poolside.
